Dr. F. Micah Nuzum

Dr. Micah Nuzum grew up in Westerville. He now resides in Upper Arlington with his wife Emily, and three young children. He is the son of a registered nurse, and a former NFL football player who now pastors a local church.
In 2002, Micah graduated magna cum laude with a bachelors degree in journalism and communication from The Ohio State University. Subsequently, he graduated magna cum laude from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry (2006). He returned to The OSU College of Dentistry and completed a combined three year fellowship and endodontic residency, earning a master’s degree along the way. His graduate research involved the study of various protocols for the establishment of profound local anesthesia in endodontic procedures. In 2010 at The National Conference for the American Association of Endodontists, he received the First-Place Award in an international competition for his master’s research in anesthesia.
Micah has served both as a full-time faculty member and as a clinical teaching assistant at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, instructing in pain management and endodontic procedures. He has donated his clinical expertise in overseas missions, providing dental services to patients who previously had no access to dental care. When not involved in dentistry, Micah spends the majority of his time with family. He also enjoys snow skiing, golf, and serving at his local church.
